The heavily pixilated, simplistic drawing you see here is my best attempt at the free MOBILE art app, MendiBang.
My experience while drawing this was lagging. Lots and lots of lagging. One way to prevent the lag is to use a smaller canvas, another way is to have this app being the only one running. Using the paint bucket tool on the background causes the app to crash, and if you either didn't save or had the app back up your progress, your work is lost. I had a rather elegant zentangled wallpaper for the background, but the app crashed. My morale could not have been lower.
It is possible, however, to create great art easily with this app. I especially enjoyed the selection tool. If you use this app, congratulations. You have more patience than me.
Let's get into the meat of the application. The tools are pretty basic for a free program. All of the tools one can find in the selection menu are the same as the desktop version. It does have fewer brush options compared to other programs; including firealpaca, sai, ect, but most digital artists agree that as long as you have a talent, you can create an aesthetic piece. I would reccomend this art program to aspiring manga artists. It's free and simple to use (once you get a feel for everything).
And as professional as I am, I have lost my train of thought, so try out the app for yourself if you don't mind lag.
